rules & REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be 25 years old to sign a rental agreement & 21 years old with valid drivers license to operate our carts.
  • If you sign a rental agreement, and let others operate, you are liable for any damages or injury. Others can sign a rental agreement as well if required. Read our rental agreement for more information.
  • You must have a major credit card in your name for a security deposit (not a debit card though you can pay for your rental with a debit card).
  • Must operate on right side of the road (lane) except when turning left.
  • Follow ALL traffic laws as you would with any vehicle on the road.
  • A map is provided and you can review local map on this page.
  • Operation of Golf Carts can be done between 30 minutes after sunrise to 30 minutes prior to sunset, between March 15th and November 15th per South Haven City Ordinance. LSVs can be operated 24 hours per day. 
  • Our electric carts & LSVs are environmentally friendly & require charging using a standard 120 volt outlet. Typical range is between 15 and 25 miles depending on how you operate, passengers, and terrain.
  • CHARGING:
    • You must return your electric cart fully charged at the end of your rental, otherwise a recharge fee will be assessed.
    • If you are returning after business hours, we offer free recharge and instructions to plug your cart in.
    • Failure to return with full charge or plugging in upon return may impact the following rental for that cart, and as such, you liable for additional fees.
  • For overnight or multiple day rentals, be sure you know you have a standard 120v AC 3 prong outlet that can be used. If. you are staying in a condo or multi-story building, you may not be able to charge. Check with the property owner. 
  • Our Golf Carts and LSVs are fun and a great way to get around town, but they are not toys.  You are expected to follow the law, drive defensively and operate in safe manner at all times. Local police can and will ticket you for any violations of traffic laws. NO drinking or texting while driving.

Yes we do!  We can deliver and pickup our LSVs within a radius of both St. Joe or South Haven.

Free pickup is available from our convenient locations below:
  • 508 Broad Street, downtown St. Joe
  • 143 Anchors Way, St. Joe
  • 205 Broadway, downtown South Haven

DELIVERY
Delivery is available within certain areas including Saugatuck/Douglas, Holland, Union Pier, New Buffalo, Stevensville, Coloma / Watervliet and other locations.

When booking, please select you would like delivery to your address or select from built in delivery locations.
  • Delivery requires a minimum 2 day rental.
  • Possession must be taken by the person who booked the rental.
  • Delivery charges apply.
  • ​Not all delivery requests can be accepted due to availabiity or operating conditions at your address like road speed limits, or other restrictions.
  • There is a 2 day minimum for all deliveries, and a delivery & pickup fee will apply.
  • Golf Carts (modified for street legal operation) and LSVs are designed for paved roads. Golf Carts may be used on private property, however they are NOT designed for off road use.
  • LSVs are designed for paved roads and legal in all locations. They are registered and plated. They are intended for use on paved roads only.

  • Your delivery address must have a standard 120V AC outlet available for charging within 25 feet of where the cart will be parked.

CANCELLATION POLICY

REFUND POLICY & NO SHOWS
There are no refunds once booked or for inclement weather.

GOJOE Rentals will make our best effort to have the cart size & type you booked at the time you booked.

GOJOE Rentals is not responsible for Renter(s) inability to arrive or if Renter(s) chooses to depart early for any reason or if a member of Renter(s) party does not show up. As a result, NO REFUNDS OR REBATES will be offered.

CANCELLATION & REBOOKING POLICY
Once booked, there are no cancellations. You may change your booking to another date or we will maintain your account balance for use at a later time. ​There will be a $75 rebooking fee charged per cart to rebook.
